Fatal Direct X 11000002

so I used to get this crash after playing the game for 5-10 mins no matter how populated an area was, it would even happen if I changed the settings to lowest settings and changed to Direct X 9.0


After all these months (yes my drivers are up to date) I restarted my PC made sure nothing else was open or in the background, finally uninstalled and resinstalled FFXIV like everyone told me to do and now when I start the game up I cant even make it to the TITLE SCREEN before the Direct X error happens (at least at first I could play the game for 5 mins). When I change to Direct 9 it SEEMS to work. I havent stayed logged in longer than 5 mins to fully test. Ill know later if it works just fine in Direct x 9 or if its like it was before where it would only work a few minutes or so before crashing even in Direct X 9

But yeah with the specs I have on my PC theres no reason this game shouldnt function just fine without me having to gimp it down to Direct X 9... it used to run wonderfully in 2013 on as MUCH WEAKER (GTX 680M as opposed to GTX 1080 I have now) PC. Heres the report

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Does the crash occur of both Final Fantasy XIV and Steam are both installed on the C drive? Additionally does the crash occur if the game is run in windowed mode or borderless fullscreen?

both FF and Stem are on my D drive, this has been happening since Eureka Pagos came out... sooo while nowm, and I only play on Borderless mode so dunno if it happens on the other modes or not
