Hello Everyone, This will just be me ranting about what happened to me today.. I am not giving any suggestions because simply I don't think there is any way this can change or be avoided.

I am more of a casual player, However I enjoy savage content so I started it two weeks ago and managed to clear E5s and E6s and I met some sweet people who gave me a hand and helped me clear them.. to me those people are the real heart and soul of this game. They give tips, have patience and just fun to play and learn with. BUT today I had the misfortune of meeting one of those "Elitist" players I've been hearing about. I saw an (E6s help a friend practice group) and decided to join as healer and help them learn.. kind of my way of continuing the circle of kindness in the community. The MT is helping his friend the OT practice, then the MT rage dc quit after 2 wipes. I told the OT he can open a slot for healer/tank cuz I can be his MT tank buddy since I know what to do. and he told me this "Sorry but you just can't fill my friend's shoes. He is a top 100 player with TEA UCOB multiple clears, you can't do his dps and uptime" and kept going on and on about how amazing his friend is and how no one else can take his place. I couldn't believe my eyes... how is that relevant in an E6s practice group?! really? is this what the end game content have become? if i do not have an ultimate raid clear under my belt then im not good enough in savage content?

I want to use whatever free time I have to learn to become better, to give a helping hand to people practicing and wanting to clear.. but there is always the fear of meeting people like that which makes me want to stop everything.

I apologize for the long post and its probably in the wrong section.. and I know there is probably no point in writing this.. I just wanted to share my disappointment and frustration with everyone.

Hahahah if that's the case, if they really refuse to run without that specific person, I'm surprised they didn't bounce too. So did they wanna run or not lol.
You said this was even a practice party! Even if you WERE a top 1% player, they couldn't expect you to perform to that standard in a raid you're learning.

Yup was a practice party and I just wanted to help him practice since his friend dipped... but the moment he said I'm not good enough to help I just wished him good luck with his practice and left.
