The amount of bots teleporting around is absolutely unbelievable

As a new player that has come from another large MMO, the game is quite fun and there are a lot of things to do in the game, like spending 15 minutes reporting 45 bots teleporting to the same MSQ as you are doing. I'm surprised that a game thats 9 years old doesn't have any detection for players teleporting around the map and out of bounds? Why doesn't the map have an auto kill pane below the map? I see these people teleporting below me.

As a new player who has played for a month, and is witness to all these bots teleporting around, it makes you think that the Developers don't take the boting issue seriously and that you're only seeing a small sample of a much larger problem.

The playercount of this game is increasing as other MMO's are going stale, I would hope to see more effort going into bot detection or even basic system to detect teleporting?

They've been known to run through the air overhead at times, so it wouldn't really solve much.

I'm kind of surprised they don't seem to have realized at this point that the main thing the bots are after are the raw gil drops from trash-heavy dungeons like Amdapor Keep and Wanderer's Palace.

Normal players would not miss the paltry amount of gil they gain from the average instance and they could compensate by adding more item drops that have value, but are worth very little in terms of raw gil.

I'm a little afraid to see if they end up finding a new farming spot somewhere in HW now.
