    Personal icon adjustments

I'd like to suggest changes to personal icons for a more universal and improved understanding of what everything means.

Trial Players- I would like to suggest a way to differentiate them from paid subscriptions. Perhaps a blue/white orb. A small diamond, or something simple in design that does not take away from the overall icon aesthetic.

When people will be running around at lv50 and still on trial, it would be handy before sending tells or FC invite.

Maybe a differently colored sprout icon that cannot be removed the way turning it off manually works. And if someone disagrees with the inability to remove the icon, you can turn off your name in settings anyway which hides it for yourself but is visible to other players. If the icon annoys the person, they still have a way to not see it.

Mentors- Crown to watering can or a fully bloomed flower to represent their achievements from sprouts and separate from Returning Player status which follows the sprout motif.

    Player Assistance-
This is something for those who are not mentors, but still want to show they are available to help others. I'm more than open to suggestions for this one. This personal status icon would represent being open to helping new players with questions or needing assistance.

Perhaps a handshake? Or a scroll tied with red ribbon?

What I wish to know what the hell is the waiting for duty icon
It looks like a badly drawn person holding a tray seen from up top.

Having a volunteer system for people looking to help others would be nice. Comparing FFXIV to any other MMO isn't always relevant, but I know in Guild Wars 2 commanders were a big thing, mostly for leading people in World vs World and big events, but the requirements for it were pretty obnoxious. Once their first expansion came out, I believe, players could easily become a 'mentor' and give them a tag on the map as well, plus it put 'Mentor' in front of their name in map chat. So they could help organize players as well as offer advice to others and be seen as somewhat knowledgeable. It didn't have the same requirements as this game, but you had to get fairly far into it to be able to get the tag, so it was fine.

Anyway, my main point in mentioning that was that it allowed regular players who desired to help to be able to without meeting other harder requirements (or just paying out a huge sum of in-game money). So it would be cool to have a mentor-like system as a volunteer thing rather than just having played a certain amount of the game.

Honestly it would be nice if that's how the mentor system was anyway, since people just use it for the mentor roulette rewards and to, I guess, brag about playing the game a moderate amount. The requirements and the crown just make it a status thing.

Also the watering can for mentors would be way cuter than the stupid crown. And I think the crown itself definitely contributes to the clout people think it gives them.

The Mentor Crown should be more awesome like have 2 little crowns on each side of the big crown to represent a completed mentor who mastered both PVP and crafting along with the main battle.

It always looked like a seat-belt to me.

An past thread on this forum came to the conclusion it is actually a ticket, which makes sense, given you're 'in a queue' to enter the instance (and in keeping with the game being a so-called 'theme park' MMORPG). But officially what exactly it's meant to be is not stated, so a ticket is as good a guess as any.

I like the idea of giving trial players a special icon, so you know you can't trade with them or can't talk with them via /tell etc. Especially now with the new trial, because we will probably have a lot more trial players than before.
