you know what? I am just good on races for atleast one expansion. Can we just focus on fixing clipping on the existing races or adding more to the original ones?

Didn't the devs say they were done adding races?

Just watch this part of a interview asking about more customizations and you will see there is still a little possibility of launching a new race![]()

Given how bizarrely difficult they've made it to implement new races my vote would be (for now) this...
1) Open up customization options for Viera and Hrothgar. More hairstyles, more hats.
2) Male Viera, Female Hrothgar
3) New subraces added as additional clans to existing races. For example...
Lalafell - Mountainfolk (furred Lalafell with tufted ears evolved for colder climates)
Viera - Feol (run shorter, have shorter ears, pale hair colors)
Au' ra - Gria (males run shorter. Have wings they can unfurl and use in place of flying mount)
Mi'qote - Mithra (already exist in lore as the ancestors of modern Miqo'te. Could be introduced as a clan with more cat-like features that never crossed into Eorzea from the Miqo'te homeland)
Hyur - Garlean (Taller with gem-like "third eyes". Warrior of Light can use magic)
Elezen - Ishgardian (could have muscle sliders and some features from both Wildwood and Duskwight)
Roegadyn - Galka (have more bear-like features. Could also have large tails)
Hrothgar - ??? (IDK, man. Something more lupine?)
Just the muscle slider they will never implement, because it's more easier to they just add a complete new race than add any kind of slider. So basically, no butt slider, muscles slider, or anything else that change the sharp of a race
Isn't there already an option for that third "eye," though I think it's not limited to hyur?
Either way, I really don't want sub-races. If WoW has taught me anything, more customization of existing races is better than segregating them into separate but mostly similar races that may not get the same customization, especially when you add lore into the picture. It just becomes messy.
Some races have jewels, yes. Garleans would be able to choose different kinds and a color for them (like jewelry on Keepers). Garleans would also be taller than Highlanders or Midlanders.Isn't there already an option for that third "eye," though I think it's not limited to hyur?

As for the subraces, I recall Yoshi-P saying that additional clans were easier than new races? It seems like the way the game is set up adding new options to old races is fairly difficult so it would have to be in the form of a new set of options around a new clan.
Muscle sliders just change texture, not the silhouette. They already exist as customization options for hyur and roegadyn
Yeah, which means more division of features. It may be harder, but if they're adding more to character creation, I'd rather it be in the form of a revamp so that they can add more customization. I doubt they would ever add a new clan anyway.
They're more likely to add clans than revamp the creator.
Although, yes, I would certainly love a revamp to the creator.
