Has there been a Seasonal Event that gave weapons?

I was looking into Bravely Default and I happened to find some images from one of the gacha games featuring beach party themed weapons.



These in particular kind of reminded me of Moonfire. I think it could be a fun thing to add to XIV now and then. Perhaps not every year, given the large amounts of jobs present, but it could add some fun visual options every so often.

The FFXIII, Yo-Kai Watch and GARO events all gave weapons, I'm not sure about any other events that did (or at least cannot remember any ones that did, although there was one event that gave a Chef's Knife for CUL - as in, a tonberry's Chef Knife - although this was virtually useless as it was an off-hand tool that only appears during Synthesis and so cannot really be glamoured, even though it had no stats.). That doesn't mean there wasn't any though.

I believe they also made it possible to glamour off-hand tools when that came out.

Huh...I somehow missed getting the DRK weapon for that...not that it looks all that great anyway
