The NPC that gives you the Quest for Cutter's Cry is named Sibold. Just the same, there is a WAR weapon named Sibold's Reach that drops in Aurum Vale.
Is this a localization bug? Is there perhaps a story behind it?

Sibold was the sole survivor of his "Darklight" raiders group that was sent to kill chimera and failed. So fitting that its his axe and the other weapons were named for their respective owners. Thats my guess anyway.

Except that Sibold's expedition was in to Cutter's Cry. OP says this weapon drops from Aurum Vale.
Apparently, Silbold had monk, so him and his fellow mercs job stacked on the malboro. He didn't have blackmage for chimera, so he ran out.
Cool story bro.
