I mean...its an oGCD ability, that in itself lends quite a bit of power to it anyway.

Then mightn't that be a reason to fix the DR mechanic as a whole, rather than removing any ability for DPS to participate in raid-saving mechanics through ability usage outside of Leg Sweep / Head Graze when they used to have 2+ such abilities each?Because of stun immunity. Bosses like Forgal in Weeping City were a nightmare since everyone would spam their stun abilities as they did damage. This meant the Succubus got off Beguiling Mist and likely wiped the raid. Things like stun shouldn't be on abilities you'll otherwise use on cooldown. So it was the right call to remove it.
I'd prefer them to lower the cooldown to something like 30 seconds. Maybe give it a couple of charges. Lower the potency to be in line with other gap closers.
because they also reduced how many eyes you need to enter Life of the Dragon while simultaneously adding in the lost Mirage Dive's potency back into HJ and SSD respectively.
DRG already has a 30s recast omni-directional gap closer. Don't like it? There's also SSD, DFD, and Stardiver. DRG has more gap closers than any other jobs by a huge margin.
DR? Either way, I don't need damage abilities needing a stun. If they ever made CC important (hah!), they could lower the CD on Leg Sweep and achieve the same thing. Unless you mean to say remove the stun immunity build up entirely.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
DR = Diminishing returns. And no, I don't mean it should be removed entirely, but it does need considerable revision.
The current system is embarrassingly bad and I'd like to CC eventually made more important, but there's virtually no room for it so long as the DR system remains as poor as it is.
