It was pretty cool when it had stun with it but since it don't it'd be cool to have it buffed.
What I don't get is why they took away it generating a Mirage Dive.![]()
I mean at least you only need two Eye stacks now compared to the old three (or the VERY old four) and it basically can be held for a tactical gap closer if so desired without messing over Life of the Dragon timings, so I guess there is that.
ya but the rotation requires you to mimic the same 3 eye timing as before so its even wonkier then before and feels like your playing the job wrong just to play it right. you never hold it, you just use elusive jump for that function.
spineshatter getting its stun back would be nice. not sure why they removed that in the first place. having the extra 2s stun wouldnt be gamebreaking.
maybe give it a high lv 70+ trait that gives it the eye back?
If it still generated one, we could line up our first Nastrond/Stardivers with our first Blood for... *ahem* Lance Charge as well as Dragonsight.LIke yeah, it's nicer now to not have to worry about eyes or losing them... in most fights... but I mean meh. As far as holding it for a gap closer, that's rarely need with Elusive Jump being a loss-less way to do that, as long as you're careful about turning around.

probably wouldn't be game breaking but popular opinion states that it shouldn't be changed even though DRG is doing the worst damage out of all melee, most of the problems in the game stem with the balance inbetween bard and other classes which the devs refuse to admit is an issue because they don't want to make it any harder then it is instead of just giving them consolidated buttons for their burst shot and giving them eagle eye or something back.
Because of stun immunity. Bosses like Forgal in Weeping City were a nightmare since everyone would spam their stun abilities as they did damage. This meant the Succubus got off Beguiling Mist and likely wiped the raid. Things like stun shouldn't be on abilities you'll otherwise use on cooldown. So it was the right call to remove it.
