WHM anima weapon

Hi Hi

i just got to the quest "A dream fulfilled" where you add points into your anima and was wondering what i should put them into, i dont plan on doing savages because id probably get to stressed and i havent got any materia on my equipment as i kinda want to wait till lv80 before doing that.

any help would be appreciated im still new and understanding what a healer needs and stat caps (if there are any)

Since they're just level 60 they'll be useless for you very quickly anyway, so it doesn't matter much what you put into it. It mattered more when they were at the level cap, but since it's two expansions later they're really just only for glamours at this point.

ahhhhh okay, i was hoping they were still viable in some way lol xD guess ill just throw stuff in where i think then pwah i really need to get the the lv80 relic lol xD

You're welcome! And yeah it sucks and it's definitely a bit confusing to have to put points in when it's not even current content anymore. It would be nice if they just simplified that as just a general point system and not stats anymore, but I guess if someone is really careful they can make it and have it be useful. Like if you only own Heavensward or something and then only buy Stormblood once you're done the relic, but that seems a bit unnecessary.

They are still relevant if you've managed to acquire the weapon before out-leveling it. Very similar to spending Poetics on BiS gear for a previous expansion to last you about 5-6 levels into the next expansion; your relic can be treated in very much the same way. And being the fully upgraded relic; honestly you can use it all the up to around 7-8 levels into the next expansion before it truly becomes obsolete to weapons that are stronger and much easier to obtain.

Now if you are already max level and going back to obtain a previous relic, then I would agree that how you allocate the stats don't matter at all.

In short: If you plan on using it for content, then I would also plan on allocating the stats in a reasonable manner. What I did for mine was treat the stats like I do when I meld; maxing out your favored stat, then putting the rest towards secondary to least desired.
