King Arthro instapulls should stop

I have no idea if it goes on in any other Data Center, but every time I've gone to Eureka Pagos in Crystal, if King Arthro is spawned, he is IMMEDIATELY killed. I'm not sure how or why this idea started, but it's legit the one thing I personally hate about Pagos. People who can't get there in time for whatever reason lose out on Crystals, Lockboxes, Light, Exp, and a chance for a Speed Belt. Every other NM in Eureka has a PT so everyone can get their things, why is King Arthro the ONLY exception to this? This is the worst kind of gatekeeping I've ever seen in this game.

just means you gotta get there faster. know what the weather is beforehand. it's a specific trigger so plan around it. also the fact there is echo in pagos means everything will die superfast.

The thing is, i am aware of the weather and whatnot. I always use the tracker, and make sure to get there by at least 10 min beforehand. The issue isn't that i can't be prepared for it beforehand, the issue is that he's the ONLY NM that no one waits for, and there's no real reason for it. Everyone waits on Cassie, Hakutaku, AAM, and Luigi, who all have a valuable drop, but it's not the same for Arthro for whatever reason.

Isn't his spawn point right on top of the mobs that spawn him? He spawns, instantly gets into combat with some lower level players, and there's more pressure on the rest of the players to start fighting right away or miss out on getting full rewards. You don't have this on other bosses in the area because they always spawn far enough away from the mobs that they don't instantly attack the players that spawned them.

one reason could be a thought that if there are less people attacking it might make the possibility of a speed belt drop seem higher. whoever is thinking that though is wrong. drop rate of the rare items has no bearing on how many people are there. just one thought. what Gunspec said is more likely tho.

Still wishing they would just put in a damn party level sync or something. Got plenty of people I'd like to help level in there but I'm limited to just spawning NMs until they get within 2 levels or so of me. Any tips for helping lower leveled friends grind in there?

It was like this well before the split starting with Anemos. Sadly this is nothing new and it isn't data center exclusive. All you can really do is make sure you're in the general area of the NM you want to fight, otherwise you will likely miss it. Sure, it sucks, but that's just how people are. GOTTA GO FAST.

I found people wait a lot more than before when I took my balmung alt through the zones for her WHM relic. With the adjustment of aether levels unless you're really new it's pretty easy to teleport to Antro and get some hits in. Granted the NM's do die a lot faster now but it's pretty common as it's been mentioned for the NM to spawn right on top of people.

Thing about that crab, as someone already stated, is that spawn almost on top of the enemies you have to kill. More often than not his majesty is the one pulling the players... in a way.
