Beneficial actions that <mo> an out-of-range valid target will not coerce a self-cast; however, <mo> on an invalid target will, such as an enemy, an object, a non-combat NPC, or an out-of-party player for party-only actions.<mo> macros are not optimal but still acceptable for a healer and will not default to you, but in this case again you cannot add a <t> or <me> line. You only go with "/ac Cure <mo>" and mouseover yourself in the party list if you ever need to use the action on yourself.
