    Larger than large plots?

Has there ever been any mention of introducing a new tier of housing above large plots?

Something to the effect of an estate or compound?

I'm sure there are a lot of FCs and rich individuals that could have a lot of fun with a lot more space.

I'm sure there are technical limitations, and in game considerations with what you can do, but it's sort of a fun idea to play around with in thinking about all the possibilities.

Considering mansions still do not have enough slots to make them look adequately furnished I think it would be premature to introduce an even larger house size. It's hard to have fun with all that extra space when the amount of furniture you can place is too low to fill up what you have.

Seconding this. It really says something when a lot of mansion owners block of large portions of their downstairs or upstairs just to look less barren. When the full space is used, things have to be spaced out so much to make the house look full—but even then, it has a feeling of emptiness.

Large barely get filled to the point of looking usable.

An XL plot would only make things worse, not to mention require an entire rework of the plots as-is to accomodate the XL plots into the grid. Which would be a nightmare from a coding standpoint.

Can't just delete everyone's house and make it easier, oh no. You gotta juggle the spaghetti of everyones house, with all their items in their dyes, rotations, scales, etc, etc, etc. Among everyone elses -AND- all the NPC shops to then add more space, then make the space actually look joined and not just a bolt-on flat piece of land.

If an XL truly did come to pass. They should double (if not triple in some cases!) the item cap, so we can at least make larges look nice.

I doubt they would ever do it with the current ward system because of the huge amount of space a single estate would require.

If they ever added enhancements to instanced housing, who knows what might be possible?

But keep in mind that each individual item placed is an item that has to be loaded by your console/computer. The more items that need to be loaded, the longer the load time and the more likely more distant objects won't be rendered until you get closer to them. I went through this with RIFT Dimensions. Larger Dimensions (at least at the time I was playing) could accommodate up to 2000 items if you were willing to pay the real money to expand the item limit. Dimensions with under 1000 items were usually okay. Over that and things would suddenly appear and disappear, ruining the effect the owner was trying to create.

Indoors, maybe. The Garden could be bigger imo. And the max items outdoors and indoors is way to low.

If I could convert one plot just into a garden I would do that in a heart beat. Gardening is an enjoyable thing for me to do.
