For those of you complaining about how the hat isn't going to work on your Viera or Hrothgar, can you maybe wait until the event launches and you have actual proof before you start bitching. It's a similar situation to the Valentines day event. Wait until you have a reason to be upset and don't speculate.

There's no logical reasons for them to NOT show every race except the newest ones (if it's not gonna work properly or at all). That's pretty much why vierra and hrothgar aren't used in any art for events or when presenting clothing that has to do with hats.

I agree we cannot be a hundred percent sure the hat won't fit, since it won't even be in the game until the day before the event. However, I find it funny you would use an example of an event where things happened exactly as expected. It doesn't exactly help your argument.

How exactly did it not help my argument. What I remember were people complaining about the supposed "gender inequality" which didn't exist, and people who played female characters complaining that the dress was "ugly". Only for a good portion of people to understand the gender distribution after the event launched, and for some people to state the dress wasn't as bad as they thought; thought they still didn't like it.

If anyone was upset over the head pieces, I don't recall because that wasn't the bulk of the complaints, not claiming it wasn't in there though. So for this event should I add that I'm upset that the "top" males will be getting is literally just two arm bands? This is the issue I'm presenting, wait until you can actually see the results before passing full judgment. We can speculate, but be open-minded.

Otherwise, mods should not be so hard pressed in this community with Squeenix not being able to do what others are doing without issues, since clearly they have enough time for events and adding new stuff to the cash shop all the time. So is it that the devs are just lazy and hate hrothgar and vierra players? Cause that's pretty much all I see when I look at anything in shb that has headgear (including relic armor).

Saying they don't have time to develop any hats that are newer in shb (not the older stuff, cause there's so much of that and will agree with that) is such a copout answer. Just like Yoshi-P and his copout answer of Monster Hunter gear (even though we're master crafters 5-6 books in at the time in sb, and now 7-8 master books in) that we can't get gear identical to MHW, when none of it looks remotely close to anything MH related for either of those sets. I shame Capcom and YoshiP for agreeing to that garbage set of armor instead of actual Rathalos armor that's iconic to the game).

The simple answer is (just like jobs), the devs don't actually play the races newer. So rather than making appropriate changes with people who play the jobs (that can clearly be seen by the amount of forum posts in each job category section), they hand it off to a second-hand team who has no idea about how to fix things properly. The people who DID actually do things (sadly while in their spare time) should be part of the dev team that helps to focus on Vierra and Hrothgar (since they clearly have the drive and passion to make it possible).

Yes yes like the rebel coat was, one of the crafting item drops from maps then a crafter goes and crafts the glam and puts it on the MB for an insane price causing this little lala to cry wishing he had it lol.

I considered buying it when it first released (before I could craft it), and then just waited till it was 150k and bought it then. LOL.

I'll give u credit, u got more patience then me, I just stare at the items on the MB till I say to myself, hey u got 4 mil use it, who cares if u go broke, after that I buy items and go broke.

Vahlnir I did the same thing when that bed mount was new lol.
