A year with a worldwide pandemic. I'm surprised we are getting something at all under these circumstances.

I know players want headgear and hairstyles for their Viera and Hrothgar; but, sometimes, you have to adjust your expectations.

No official statement was made that they had to cut content because of corona. The only statement we got is that they had to delay 5.3 for 2 months, the corona excuse doesn't work in this situation.

I'd like to see updates too. Continue to make what you want known, but don't pretend the pandemic doesn't affect everything.

I don't understand why people continually complain over something they know is standard. When Viera and Hrothgar were added to the game they made the community very aware of this short coming. Why after an entire year are people still complaining? Give it a rest already. I am appreciative they offer events on a consistent basis that provides new emotes, glamour etc.

Because people want this situation to be changed, that's why. So far they didn't even get promised new hairstyles, of course people would complain.
If anything, more than half of changes and updates in this game are the result of community speaking up for this. That's how feedback works.

You were not promised anything. They literally said they were going to add the races even though they really didn't have the resources to do it. The community figures if they throw a temper tantrum long enough they will get what they want? Grow up. Please. Yoshi and the devs are well aware at this point you want what you want. If/when they get the resources necessary you may or may not get it. Move on to something more productive.

Because they can still wear some headgear and because these are new items so maybe some of us still have the hope that there will be new items that can be worn by the new race. (And even with the complaint one can still enjoy the rest of the event.)

Because it has been an entire year, and people were told that they would be adding more headwear and hairstyles over time. They have not delivered on that yet. Considering recent events it is completely understandable, but...that's hardly the point. They had opportunities before the world went to crap and did not deliver then.

To be fair, a while back they did actually convert a chunk of headwear for Viera/Hroth that was not originally planned for. But yeah, aside from that, they've received very little love.
