[Suggestion] Glamour

Hello everyone, I wanted to write for a long time, but somehow my hands did not reach it. Let's get down to my proposal.

It's no secret that in this game there are many things that you ever wanted to use as glamour but was class or job related. My suggestion is that the glamour dresser would be more functional. I would like it so that if you put any thing in the dresser, it will be converted into something like "Glamour only" and level of this item will reset to 1 and "All classes" (Even if it is DoH / DoL gear (Yes, I realy want to use some gear related only for alchemist as a glam)). I predict answers like "It will be wrong if the healer runs in a heavy PLD armour", but we already have some things from rated PvP Feast mode which is not related for class or lvl at all and looks like a heavy armour and you can even use it to glam your DoH / DoL job.

In general, I set out my thought, I would like to get at least some feedback if you do not agree or that something cannot be done.

I never understood the 'it could confuse new players' excuse. Ok, it might be confusing when you run your first duty and all 4 characters show up in heavy armor. But once everybody draws their weapon and assumes their party roles (tanks runs ahead and pulls, healer stands back and heals), I don't understand how anyone could still be confused.

And if people are still confused for whatever reason, maybe they could add like a role icon toggle to the UI. So you have the role icon (tank, heal, dps) right next to the character name. (I know it shows the roles already on the party list, but I mean the name floating above the player.)

It is weird because tanks can wear clothes so strange that you don't understand that this is a tank. So I think this is a stupid argument.

With glamorous clothes from Mog Station, this is already misleading in dungeons. We have party list anyway, what the problem?

That argument immediately crumbles to pieces, when everyone can run around looking like a Sesame Street character or show up in beach outfits. If he means he wants to preserve the role's visual identity, by keeping Artifact Job gear locked, I'm completely fine with that. I don't need to see a White Mage in Dragoon armor. But anything that isn't Artifact gear, could be fair play.

He're we have 4 different Jobs and 3 roles, all dressed in armor. Is there anything confusing about who plays which role?

Oh, don't get me wrong.
I understand and agree with you.
Especially since if you really look you have options when it comes to shit like putting a hard in full plate.
I'm just sharing with OP that Yoshi says he wants to minimize tanks running around in healing robes and healers dressed in tin cans.

swimsuits are different.. because they are not job related. Any job can use swimsuits as glam.. But you have to admit being able to put on a full blackmage job armor as a tank doesnt seem right. I personally feel motivated to level a certain job to max because I cant wait to put on the level 80 crafted set for that job! but if I can wear all the healer/tank/melee/ranged gear glams on one job that is pretty boring. Or seeing a full static group glamed as whm is weird. This game gives jobs their unique identities which is a plus.. taking that away will be a big loss in my humble opinion. However I agree with you we need more options.. so maybe giving casters new gear that is more heavily armored? that would be nice
