There are more than a few FF14 cookbooks, and one could also make the foods they do at the Eorzea Cafe.
There's some mileage to that idea.

The game is too instanced as well as story focused, also just isn't as big of a theme park as WoW for example in terms of content.

The game being too instanced also means there's little downtime in the game for traveling for example. Questing really isn't interesting (to watch) in FFXIV, it's mostly reading and very little open world mechanics, no unpredictable interactions and the open world has nothing interesting going on usually as well as no threat or many rpg elements. Game plays very linear for an MMO which naturally makes it less attractive to watch or create streaming/video content with. The game also isn't as controversial or discussion worthy with e.g. everything being according to a formula. WoW content creators seem to spend half their content on talking about WoW controversies etc. .Achievement hunting, grinds as well as pvp aren't very interesting in FFXIV and those are usually huge in terms of streaming/video content.

These aren't really criticisms of the game, just potential reasons why don't think this is really a good game for content creators. Also consider that this game is kind of niche I feel like, it's very popular for a niche but still a niche for the genre. By far most gamers, and I even think most MMORPG players won't enjoy FFXIV. It's very story driven and has a particular flavor, for combat as well.

Bozja is a step in the right direction. A system they should splash all over the next expansion, in many of the open world zones. The core design of the critical missions should be a really fun and dynamic activity which should basically be a big chunk of the end game activity of the game.
Like I said, this could be where you have beast tribes summon their primals after you do like 100 fates. These primals drop rare mounts that already exist but with different colors or effects on them (like rain effect on a goobbue). You'd have to kill these critical event primals some 300 times to get the achievement that unlocks it. That would be great for end game in my opinion. But not just mounts, it could be other things like existing weapons with extra effects on them; just use existing whatever and they don't have to waste too much time creating new stuff.

As much as I wanna believe in Bozjan.
Eureka also sounded awesome and that turned out awful until pyro's, so I'm not trying to be negative but I'm not having my hopes up high.

Funny you bring this up (well not funny but it activated my brain cells), because the voice actor to Noctis, Ray Chase, actually streamed several months ago. He was like a gosh dang lost old man and absolutely precious to watch. But a voice actor streaming is incredibly rare. I got to lead him to the Ul'dah Aetheryte Plaza, it was great. Saying all this to say, about the only thing that would bring in a lot of viewers are people in the industry or development staff giving this content. Because people love feeling like they have a backstage pass.

I could watch Yoshi-P tour houses all day honestly.

Paul Nobody who has nothing to his name but a snowball mic and a barely funny joke every now and then? No way.

NA alone has more players than JP.
Which doesn't mean anything when it comes to my question regarding what's the representation on the JP streaming services.

People forget that the FF franchise isn't nearly as popular in NA and EU as it is in Japan. Chances are extremely good that a higher proportion of content creators are going to be among the JP player base using the JP streaming services than among the NA/EU player base using the NA/EU streaming services. Something like Niconico is going to host the majority of JP content creators.

NA/EU worlds also have a sizeable JP community playing on them. While I'm sure it's not a majority of those playing on NA/EU, it's not insignificant. Many of those player here are going to be doing their streaming on the JP streaming services (I met a couple through the hunt community about a year ago).

So again, what the content creator representation on the JP services if someone is worried about the state of content creation for this game?

And of course there's the issue of a lot of content creation having nothing to do with streaming services. A fansite is content creation as well. How many FF fansites are there in the NA/EU? How many are there in JP?

Why FFXIV is performing badly from a content creation side?

IMO because they're appeasing the part of the community comprised of lazy entitled crybabies too much.

You know... Those people on here all the time constantly making posts like "PLZ NERF I CANT LEECH CLEAR BY BEING AFK", "PLZ NERF I CANT GET MY RELIC IN 5 SECONDS", "BATMAN AND ROBIN HAVE UTILITY BELTS, SOLOMON GRUNDY WANT ONE TOO", etc...

At the very least we would have more engaging gameplay and mechanics if people weren't on here complaining all the time about actually having to play the game to play the game.
