I wish dialogue UI was cleaner.

Another thing to consider when questing is to create a "low-clutter" UI setting. Copy your UI into a second slot, turn off hotbars, HP bars, anything you think you can do without, and just turn them back on if you're missing them.

Yes, it's really annoying how you have to press square like every sentence to hide the UI. I wonder why it even resets all the time.

I'd guess it's something they implemented after the fact (as so much of this game seems to be) and couldn't get it to stay turned off. It doesn't seem like something you'd choose to do deliberately.

I just wish there was a button to completely shut the NPC up for the remainder of the interaction. Pixie quests are the worst, sometimes with up to 4 dialog pop-ups. Let me click "Stop talking", and close the current, and all following dialogs.
