Black Moon is a community born by the merge of two guilds way back in 2008. After Ragnarok Online and Archeage we landed on FFXIV and never fully left anymore. We might have changed from hardcore gamers to more casual due to real life responsibilities, we still aim to tackle content with a serious but fun mindset, at our own pace.

While some of us admittedly dawdle in and out the game between patches, looking for some entertainment in other games, we're always available on our active discord server to answer any questions and jump into game to run content when asked timely! And of course, there's always a few of us who stick to FFXIV and are more than willing to help out potential newcomers find their footing in the game. We usually do weekly events such as Raids or EX trials depending on what's current, and things as Ocean Fishing and RP club visiting is also on the radars within our community!

As mentioned, we have our own dedicated discord server on which we discuss all kinds of topics such as FFXIV itself, Anime (Gotta admit, we have quite some weebs myself included xD) other games and that weird video or meme you found yesterday that was so curious you just had to share. We even regularly hold events for other games, as our focus lays more on the community than purely FFXIV. Our discord server activity is mostly done in text though, voice is used for events and the occasional hang out but if you're hoping to hang out on voice for hours on end on day to day basis we may not be the best fit.

And last but not least, of course we have an awesomely decorated medium FC house located on 20th ward, plot 30 in The Mist, feel free to check out your potential new hot spring included chocobo stable, bad smells might be included though..
