You posted at 7am my time (I think), and said you were waiting 2 hours, so you started your queue at what, 5am? Buddy, PVP isn’t in the best state right now, you might want to at least wait until everyone is awake to queue for it. Frontlines queues do pop. Good luck with getting any of the other PVP modes to pop though.
I dunno Kezzic, thanks to the Moogle tomestone event I've been regularly getting into Rival Wings.

No, I mean regularly.
Like, as in not just today, but I can get in on a regular basis.
Either way looking back I kinda took your comment too literally :P

On Aether it's more like 3pm Eastern to significantly past midnight; like 2am EDT is only 11pm PDT.
You used to be able to get 8 man party 24 person matches about 1-2 an hour almost all day long. That time period where it's later than late night but not yet morning was always a dead spot though. There actually was a morning 'before work' sort of crowd where you could get back to back matches in for a few hours. It was more like 7am-10am Eastern though.
Frontline PVP is only active during the day. After midnight it's dead.
Aethers pretty good for frontlines atm ye, because there's a group there called ARGO that runs Frontline competitions for gil/mogstation prizes and they're quite popular, and their home is Aether.\

And ye that was the good thing about 24man, personally I cant envision playing Onsal as 24man because it was designed as a 72man map, and I had varying levels of enjoyment under the old 24man system because it was fun in a competant alliance, whether you had a premade or not, it wasn't if you didn't because you could not lean on 2 other alliances to give you a chance. But the best part about it had to be the extra 4 hours of queues it gave you.

Probably by making it Fun again and allowing 8v8v8 back into existance.
Squeenix listened to frustrated part time pvpers, removed 8v8v8 and 8 man premades cause they got stomped. Now they still get stomped by 4 man premades. Part time PvPers ran out of excuses: now they dont queue anymore.
I recommend playing other games for PvP, at least thats what i do. PvP in FF is kinda pointless now anyway.
And before people now claim that pvp never went on outside of prime time: before the removal of 8v8v8 we hat queues pop until 4 am in the morning even after the casualisation with the release of Stormblood.

I mean waiting on the queue aside, there are a multitude of things you could do during that time. Could be something in-game, or hell you could do something out of game like TV/Netflix/Switch etc the list is endless, time is only wasted if you use it poorly to begin with.
