PS4 Launcher: Can't "Click" anywhere

Hi guys,

I have FFXIV for the PS4 and PC. PC works just fine. PS4 was working fine until today.

Now when I am showed the login screen, I can't use the X button to click anywhere. I can move my cursor with the left thumbstick, but if I try to click anywhere, nothing happens.

All other games, and navigating the Playstation system menus works. The X button does what I expect it to do everywhere else.

I have tried restarting the PS4, checking for updates to the PS4 firmware, and nothing has helped.

Have you tried using a different controller to see if the issue occurs on that one as well?

Hi Rhaervis, thanks for your help.

Yes, I have two Playstation 4 controllers, and the behaviour is the same with both of them, and they both work correctly under all other circumstances (other games, the PS4 system menus)

Can you try reinstalling the game? Delete the install data (as well as the Application Save Data). Then redownload/reinstall the game. Additionally does issue only occur in Final Fantasy XIV?
