Regarding Firmament Titles For 5.3

The titles awarded to top players, “Saint of the Firmament” and “Beatus of the Firmament” are the same as those awarded during the rankings held at the release of Patch 5.21. Please note, however, that because they will be treated as separate titles, players who earn them will see two instances of them when viewing acquired titles in-game.

This hacky solution feels like the worst of both worlds. Achievement hunters will still clog up the top rankings because you made a new achievement and their reward is seeing two of the same title in your title log. A better all around solution would have been just have no new achievement and let new players earn the old one if they hit a top rank.

I think the best solution would be to have different titles for each "season" but have multiple rounds of ranking in each "season". Instead of only one 10 day period every 3~ish months (or 6~ish months this time, but that's not the developers fault).

This is how I thought it was originally gonna be handled during the first Skybuilder rankings, up until a week or so after it ended and no other ranking period was scheduled. I was content with my top 100 place and I'd just try for the top 12 another time, but this time around I won't bother I think.

I really hope you guys are getting at least in the 12. But from the amount of botting and third party/account sharing i'm seeing on the boards. This shit is rough. Not to mention them, what it seem slike, over turning the crafts. Good luck al

I don't want them adding more meaningful rewards until they actually sort out the issues with the cheaters.

The only reason there isn't more of them is likely just because a simple title reward isn't appealing enough.

There's a problem within the boards themselves. Cross World isn't helping that either. As they bot all day, and have alts they bounce around on a spare account to sell on every server on a DC. It's absurd

This ranking system is a dissaster.
Remove it entirely.
Make diferent titles and achievements.
Make them a personal achievement, no competition of any kind involed.

Maybe add something really interesting like Collaborative crafting/gathering. Why there are no Gathering FATE's or Crafting FATE's yet. We should be crafting on a floating island in the diadem.

This is seriously even worse than attempting to make the feast an e-sport, rankings are awful design for non-competitive games, time locks are also awful. Some people have endless time, others don't, time is not a good measure bar. I want these titles, crafting a single item a month for 10 years from now. And i should be able to get it.
