Why do you care you don't have to level anything there. There are lots of people who wanted other things to do in zones like this and they appear to be trying to give it to them.

Eureka was level synced too and it appears this is to level the playing field for some of the battle encounters in the zone.

Wonder if there will be any tome rewards for any of these encounters like we got in Eureka.

No, because it makes up for having no deep dungeon this expansion and looks more engaging than deep dungeon. Some people may or may not leech but the content isn’t out yet so we can only conjecture what it will actually be like.

I'm more concerned about people botting in there, considering that they've historically attempted to do it literally anywhere that has EXP to be gained.

It could be particularly bad if they're stealing slots in critical engagements then decorating the floor afterward due to their general inability to handle mechanics beyond the most basic of telegraphed AoEs.

Pretty much this. Someone in FC chat was asking about how to quickly level up crafters and the general consensus was Ishgard > anything else. Leves, Beast Tribes, GC turn ins. All pale to Ishgard.

This is going to have the same effect on Roulettes if the EXP gain is significant.

This. They said since we're not getting a deep dungeon something will have to make up for it, and this is it. And since it's less mindless than deep dungeons, people are still gonna do it les than deep dungeon so I don't know how you all think it's gonna impact roulettes. Besides roulettes are a once a day matter, they're only a small part of the levelling for most people, and tbh ShB was very much lacking other things to do.

I'm also disappointed about the ilvl sync down though.

People will leech content no matter what. Square could make content that requires close to 0 brain cell use and afk, but somehow there will be people who leech said content.

I think it's a great idea. Definitely gives the content more replay value.
