I check the search function, probably nab one person, if I'm lucky. I also use the search function for myself, I'm sitting there for 6 hours doing nothing.

I will continue shouting until the community learns to use the search function.

that is exactly the problem, even the people that try to use it get discouraged very fast because everyone else is too stupid/lazy to use it which makes it unusable cause you neither find people nor get invites, so they say screw it and go back to shouting.

SE should turn off shouting for some weeks, maybe that is what people need to learn
with the current system there is NO excuse not to use it except that no one uses it, which is the community's fault alone
2.0 and new players are our only hope as it stands right now
