Pause and Think before Shouting

I like talking to strangers in shout very much and therefore won't stop doing it, thank you.
It's what makes a game social, random interaction, one of the things most people coming from other games complain about with FFXIV is that they stand in a city with 400 players around them and no one says a single word.
It's like a ghost town.

About people shouting "please invite me"...well, I kind of agree with you on this one.
It's annoying, because I either join shouts or build my own parties.
And there even is the player search feature now for lazy players who only want to put themselves up for inviting.
Why not just use that?

I fixed Uldah pretty easily by putting Shouts in its own tab.

And I will continue to use it as my base for being a witty prick, tyvm~

What I feel is even weirder is that there are certain linkshells and people in them that don't like talking in LS chat. I have been part of 5 different LSes now and I've ran into people who answered me in tells and told me having a conversation in LS chat is rude.

But I've ran into a few people as well when I ask a question in a shell I get a /tell response to my question it's just odd.

Perhaps they're locked in crafting or gathering and cannot switch LS to the one you're using.

Same here. I can't tolerate in any game where people think that chatting in a linkshell/legion/guild/whatever is rude.
