[Request] Ghost of Tsushima Crossover?

I'm looking at some of the armor sets of Ghost of Tsushima and my FFXIV Samurai ends up green with envy. If some of these armor sets end up in FFXIV like as happened with the the Garo event, that's be amazing.





Thoughts anyone?

unlikely to happen. such a thing would have been announced at least half a year ago and planning done more than a year in advance and planned to be implemented around the launch date of Ghost of Tsushima. due to the pandemic such things would not be possible. the devs have a hard enough time just getting 5.3 together. You people should stop making pie in the sky wishes.

I will give this cross over a 0.5% chance to happen, it's the same as the last of us 2 crossover with golf club weapons for every class.

Supply chain problems make it expensive to order new games at the moment (and I only order physical copies) and I don't have netflix.

I'd be all for it. I picked up the game myself when it launched and I've been enjoying it immensely so far. It's incredibly atmospheric and the combat is intense.

As for those saying it will never happen, the exact same thing was said about a Nier crossover event. Yet the development team didn't just add an event for that, they added an entire raid series.

Whenever a new game comes out there is always a *insert game here* crossover thread. The same thing happened with DMC5 and Resident Evil. I get that people enjoy these other games but everything doesn't need to be a crossover with FFXIV.

If you're looking for armor similar to that, the Genji armor from the Omega Raids give off a somewhat armored samurai vibe.

Yes I'm well aware of the Deltascape armor sets. And because of their job restrictions, Samurai don't have access to most of it. They're also lacking in color variety and look kind of shabby too. Frankly they can't go wrong putting more Samurai armor in the game, especially since Samurai are a class. The Devs said they wanted Samurai to look more like Ronin, but very very few Samurai gears sets even make them look like Ronins. I say embrace the bright colors of Samurai Armor, I want to look fabulous and dangerous.
