Folks are gonna use this as an excuse to try to make a point. You can't tell the devs not to put in content cause your afraid of hackers.

If you don't wanna be bothered with hackers stay inside your safe little instance.
I never said it is not impossible to claim against a bot, and you'd had more luck doing it after an update where every program were broken.

I say it is impossible to really compet against a botter, not that i'm saying everyone is botting, i dont want to spend 100 Times camping the NM where i'm sure i wont get 90 of them that leave me a small percent chance to get it.

There is others way to make HNM content enjoyable, you could simply make Nidhogg flying in the air, until someone use a pop item to make her/him fall instead of just make it pop on a time window.

Did you really claimed it ? are you 100% sure ? or isn't your alliance that claim it, maybe someone that wont say he was using a bot. (Saying "my friend or my linkshell member will never bot" wont work).

I myself had claimed a few here and there, but it didn't mean they didn't exist or weren't in abundance. Back on Asura we had a guy we called "Super Ralph" and for the longest time he had a 98% claim rate on all HNM's he ever attended. He was just a naked level 75 crafting mule and all he ever did was run to the zone, get claim, move on to the next zone while his shell killed the HNMs, and repeat. In the end it turned most HNMLS's off from doing it or forced them to feel the need to bot in order to compete, by time the guy got banned all kinds of shells began botting to compete with each other just compounding the problem, just turned into an endless cycle.

I'm all for a little competition, but I really would rather avoid reliving 21-24 hour windows that just encourages foul play from players.
That's my point, a bot encourage a discouraged ppl to bot or give up. i'm all open for competition, and outdoor HNM, but Square Enix have to find another way to make them that just a normal pop condition.
