    Hello,
I decided to try playing with my xbox 360 controller. I plugged it, in my computer setting i can see it, drivers are updated. I went to setting in game, I enabled controller but game does not detect any. I tried to look on google but couldn't find anything

Are you playing through Steam? You may need to enable/disable the controller in Steam for it to work in XIV. Sorry I can't remember which way round it was, but I recently had a problem with Farming Simulator 19 not being able to see a controller and tracked it back to having to adjust Steam which might be your problem too.

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Try using a genuine Xbox360 or Xbox One controller (preferably wired) as these are compatible with Windows OS.
    - Try plugging the controller into different ports (both front and back).
    - Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
    - Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
    - Disable all other device drivers, leaving the mouse, keyboard, and controller as the only active devices.
    - If you are using a specialized gaming keyboard, try using a different keyboard to ensure there are no conflicts between the devices.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse, keyboard, and controller.
    - Make sure Windows has been fully updated form the Microsoft/Windows Update website.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

Have you tried re calibrating the controller under the System Configuration Menu under the Gamepad Settings tab? Does this issue only happen with Final Fantasy XIV? Could you try doing a cleanboot? Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
