PS4: Game downloading version 8.33 again

Hello, I had the physical version of the game fully installed and patched to current. The other day I ejected the disc to play a different game, and I noticed a download showed up under notifications for Final Fantasy XIV: version 8.33 for about 42.250GB.


Can anybody help me with why the game would download again if it was installed already and patched with the disc?

If the Playstation 4 found the install data to be unreadable or corrupt, it may require that it be redownloaded. Has this happened again since it was redownloaded?
