Eh, she rags on Alphi too much for me.
Me and the little dude got framed and exiled together, basically had to start over in Ishgard. Alisae couldn't take five minutes out of her sharlayan version of a gap year to call us up and see how her brothers doing? Pfffft.
Yes please. I dislike them so much, those twins especially. So much that it actually ruins my enjoyment on otherwise good story.
Then you finally make interesting character who even joins our party.... And we all know what happens. Can't have a good stuff here.
Why job stories can have nice npc companions but the msq not?
One thing I notice: if you are a female character and you're dead, you're dead for good. But if you are a male character, chances are at some point you will be back, hahah. While I don't feel the desire to go all backstabby about it, I would apprecaite it if they actually let some deaths be final. Papalymo got the short end of the stick as being the only Scion that SE found truly dispensable. But yeah, as a whole, I just really dislike how they have so many fake deaths in this game. Lets start having some proper deaths! Just don't hurt Alphinaud, he's adorable.
I mean, Nanamo would beg to differ with that. Unless you're not counting her as an example of dead. But if you are I'm not sure you can count any male characters legitimately coming back from the dead either. Generally it's just "sometimes there is a fake out that seems like death but isn't really".
Guess maybe that explains it. Alphinaud is an insufferable prat whom I feel no level of camaraderie towards. Explosions solve all my problems. Kid talks too much.
because that suppose to be our job =D
we dont need another one that literally we WOL have been doing that for years
and on top of that i dont like how alisae doing it, like i said before she took it waaay to seriously, where everyone still can crack a joke or two (even yshtola of all people!) she just went furious at everyone, right now she is definitely the most "unsync" with every scion members.
the dev probably want to portray her as serious person type, but i think they overdid it with her characterization. i mean look at our best bro estinien, straight forward and serious but still can "loosen up" when things are calm
*remember back in HW we went to moogle village and estinien was told to use his "dragoon" power to jump and... get a fruit from tall tree? he just amazed that he never though he will use his power to do something so menial. and this is THE estinien pre SB here, he just shrug it off and went along with the silliness.
if this was alisae she probably went furious and telling everyone that this is time wasting useless and start running to Hraesvelgr palace in full speed lol

Deaths don’t make a character more compelling. It’s a cheap tactic that should ONLY be used to advance character arcs, plots, or revelations. I don’t want scions to die for no reason cause “lol Gud Story”
I thought he was a prat in ARR, came around in HW though.
The adventure through the far east with Alisae didn't land anywhere near as well.
He had a whole personal story and character arc dedicated to him, spanning ~1.5 expansions. Alisae (as of yet) did not. She is hanging around, and Ga Bu is a thing with her (I wish he wasn't), but for now she is an untapped character.
The same applies to Y'shtola and to a lesser degree Urianger. Personally I hope they get their time in the spotlight before writing them off.
I’ve personally wanted to see Thancred die for the longest time, though shb has me thinking about the others as well, my want to kill thancred hasn’t so much as decreased so much as my want to kill the other scions gone up. y’shtola’s plot armor, alisaie’s WoL worship, and Urianger’s ability to lie through his teeth without meaningful repercussion is getting tiresome.
