For me personally for some MAGICAL reason in FFXIV i have to RETYPE password each time i want to log in and i got Jebaited one time password meant I TYPE IT ONCE AND NEVER again noono nono i have to TYPE IT EACH TIME i want to play which is literally annoying when i play other game i just hit PLAY button/click once and i am on my character screen and just pick character to play.

So coming from that to have to retype 2 passwords gets annoying a lot so i think that is main reason.
and for second i even need to get phone and get app to give me password.

Uh, you weren't being tricked by what "one time password" meant. Square-Enix has always been very clear that it means the password is good only once, and expires after a minute or so from it's generation. That is the entire point of the authenticator app, to make your account more secure by having it require a unique password which only you can generate and is only good for a very short period of time. If retyping your account password offends you, the PS4(and I assume PS5) version saves that password, so you just need to enter the one-time password each time.

Also, if you absolutely hate using the app to generate a one-time password, you can remove it from your account.
