Do you have any faith in the Nier plot?

What I'm asking do you have any faith that the devs will actually make the Nier plot elements actually mix into the game's lore in any good way? Or will it just be Nier stuff dropped into this game for the sake of essentially have a glorified cross-over event?

Because so far the lore hasn't mix in at all.

So far it's basically been simple to introduce elements of a different franchise people might not be familiar with.
Honestly, none of the alliance raids really did much with just the first one.

At the very least I'm confident I'll have fun. But like DrWho2010 said, it's just too early to tell lol.

There is some truth to what you're saying, in that its best to withhold judgement until you have everything in completion but in actuality, we can't do that. We have to judge what we have access to right now; Each installment still needs to be satisfying. If the story and its integration into the world will be nonsensical or inconsequential until the end of the expansion, then you will have people feeling unsatisfied with the content regardless of how the final moments are able to wrap things up.

Now, do you mean it'll be more "Nier: Automata" or more "Nier". So far most of what I've seen does resemble both games to some degree (more Automata based on the enemies and locale, of course), though I would like to see more elements from Gestalt/Replicant. That's probably unlikely, though.

If anything they should prevent Nier plot elements from mixing into the main game as Nier Automata was an overrated game that went for pseudo-philosophical navel-gazing over epic battles against the most sophisticated antagonist of all time, Zenos.

At their core, they're both the same question.
You can only answer the question of future raids based on your feelings of the current. If the first installment isn't satisfying, then that leads to not believing the second will be; if a person is unsatisfied by the second, then they will be wary of the third.
