3rd Phase Ishgardian Restoration Rewards

I've been told that the Title rewards for the top 12/100 will be different this time around for Ishgardian restoration.

I thought it was said that those rewards were going to remain the same, as to make it so that players that didn't get it the first time around would have a better chance the next time around?

Considering how some players scored points into the millions, if you're on a heavily populated server, you basically can't do anything else for the few weeks that its out or you can't really compete, and that doesn't sound too fun.

It's not like there won't be nothing else to do for months anyhow... 1 relic step and a couple new dungeons you're done with on day 1, no new tier of armor, so still capped at ilvl 500. Grind away.

Imo they should have limited the point you need for the top 10 and only unlimit the first 1-3 or something...

I had the understanding that the titles would remain the same for every season, that way there was more opportunities for others to get them. I don't think I have the energy to gather for 12+ hours a day for 10 days again... ><"

then don't? It's not the end of the world if you don't place in the top 12. *shrug* plus playing that kind of way is not healthy my dude.

Did you just answer your own question? Transfer to low pop servers to get the title then transfer back.

They told us the leaderboard titles would remain the same each season and that those who have obtained a title wouldn't be eligible to compete for the leaderboard rankings again in later seasons. While it's possible they might have changed their mind about it, nothing has been announced to that effect.

I think people might be getting confused with Restoration phase titles. There is a second set of titles to be obtained, "...the Nest's Own [insert job]" for the number of 5.21 items submitted as opposed to the point value. There likely will be a new set of achievements with titles for the upcoming phase.

We should be getting more information in the live letter next week if the next phase starts in 5.3 or 5.31.

I thought they said that once someone gets top 12 they can't get top 12 again in future seasons - you are locked out from it so that others have a chance to get Top 12.

I hope you're right. The phrasing of the reddit interview summary that was posted today made it seem otherwise, but you make it seem like it might be a mistranslation.
