    I appreciate you putting these factors together. However, i personally would love to see a mythic plus system without the gear race. Maybe scale items to a fixed level and drop some mounts or glam for achieving stuff. I don't need better gear, i need a challenge outside of big groups. PVP is well ... not focussed a lot and i don't have time for regular raiding evenings. So for me it would be a good fit.
    I want something about skill not about getting godlike armor items i have to grind for all my free time.

    Honestly...
    Harder dungeons would be run for fun, like PotD or NG+
    There doesn't need to be a way they slot into progression.

    Oh no you get me wrong. I have no problem with Mythic but the way Blizzard did it opened a pandoras box of RNG and anger. FF14 is a different beast with a very different playerbase. They call this game casual but when Blizzard tried to put a timer on their version of Tower of the Dead in their new expansion the playerbase nearly revolted.

    The main issue with Mythic + is the scaling of the gear and refarming but does that need to be a problem? Why not farm Mythic for Allegory instead of hunts?? Why not have super exclusive mounts and glamours locked behind hard to get achievements? Why not extremely hard to get titles? The issue with Blizzard is they always assume players want gear with bigger numbers and not just the challenge so they design content that burns out EXTREMELY quick and the way they choose to spice it up makes the situation far worse.

    I honestly think Square could do Mythic + right and not make it such a tedious system with so many arbitrary things. There were multiple things I could not even list on why Blizzard makes the system worse then it ever needs to be because of the silly character limit on these forums. I had to delete over 2,000 characters to get it down to the limit of 3,000.

    ^ Basically this. FF14 players are asking for smaller encounters that require you to pay attention to the mechanics and not faceroll them into the ground. It does not have to be some primary progression like Mythic + has become but a fun side system that scales.
