Beast Master lore in the new bozja content, maybe a preview of the job in action like gauis with the gnb preview in that role play fight in patch 4.4 or alisae in the rdm preview in 3.4.

Citation please for BST being confirmed as coming - I've seen a few players mention it lately as supposedly talked about along with PUP in a past Fanfest but I've never seen any official information stating it's confirmed, and to me seems more like just a rumour started by hopeful ex-FFXI players (I remember years ago head localization manager Michael Christopher Koji-Fox mentioning in a lore panel his favourite Job is BST, being an old FFXI player himself, but that was the only time I've seen any member of the development team talk about BST, and that wasn't even in context of FFXIV).
That's not to say it will never appear, just, until official confirmation is given, take anything you hear with a grain of salt.
Yeah, unless I've missed something, there's no sign at all of which jobs might be coming.
Also Alisaie did not "preview RDM" in 3.4 other than that we know in hindsight that she is one. She summons a sword out of her grimoire and uses paladin animations.
I never said beast master is coming, but it's already in the lore, the beast master was mentioned by one of the NPCs at the resistance camp were we start the 1st step of the SHB relics.
Anyone who talked to that npc I can't remember the name of would know exactly what I'm talking about, it also said one of the garlean legions uses beastmasters, so I don't see why u guys are staying I'm saying beast master is confirmed when I'm just simply asking if we're gonna build on the beastmaster lore we already have, we got geomancer previews in SB and I'm wondering if we'll get beast master previews.
After going back and watching the cutscene from 3.4 it appears I am wrong about alisaie, I remembered it wrong and that's my fault, but the beast master stuff is in the lore, if u talked to the npc and again I never said it was coming so that's just wrong assumptions about my post, just like my remembering wrong of alisaie with rdm.
So pretty much just look at my beast master speculation like the geomancer were previewed in SB.
Could be, my thing about Beastmaster is that I don't want a summon job who uses their summon as a dot like Summoner does. So if Beastmaster gets added they should decide the rotation should come from the Beastmaster himself/herself with the summon being a 1 time skill that hits for a lot of damage (like 1100 potency kinda damage). Or should most of the skills be basically commands you give your summon for them to execute while you just do a few OGCD attacks every 20-30 seconds.
No more of those weak dot egis that have no business being with us throughout the entire fight when the job has no real summon focus. The summon focus is getting there now at least but I'd honestly prefer if they'd just delete the egis and let us cycle into demi summons from here on out. Carbuncle was a cute thing as an arcanist but that's really the extent of it; just make carbuncle a demi summon as well and everyone's happy.
Just because a npc has a class, or mentions it, doesn't mean it will ever be playable - look at Musketeer, for ten years that MSK Guild with it's logo has been in Limsa and players still can't play as it. And probably never will, given SE most likely cannibalized whatever they had done on it for MCH.
Once again, unless SE specifically mentions and confirms "xxxx class/Job is coming", don't take a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reference as "proof" a class or Job is revealed, especially if said reference is part of purely optional side content.
I just hope we get the job, it'd be cool if they added it in 6.0, I agree with u on it not being a dot pet type deal, I'd like the beast to have a couple moves, maybe like a rotation for the beasts or beast itself u summon, the beastmaster themselve has a rotation and depending on how many pets it gets they have a rotation as well.Could be, my thing about Beastmaster is that I don't want a summon job who uses their summon as a dot like Summoner does. As far as summoner goes I'd like to see a rework on it but I think Monk needs one real bad, like how much got in SHB.
I believe BeastMaster was mentioned as an example of a future limited job (a la Blue Mage) so while it does seem fairly likely we will get it at some point in time, I wouldn't get my hopes up about it being a fully integrated job.
we need some bangaa up in here
The Gaius combat didn't really feel like a preview to me, considering there had been many times before when a gunblade was used by an NPC character. We all knew he wielded one and we had seen him in action before.
As far as BST goes...time will tell. I really hate how they have handled the Limited Job thing so far, so I hope that it can be a full job. Either that, or maybe they can implement it based on the feedback BLU got, which wasn't overwhelmingly positive and hopefully it can be a better incarnation than BLU was.
