Getting fatal directx crashes

well anyway I used to play on PC (thank god I have it on PS4 too) until around Eureka Pagos when at that point the game woud get a fatal direct x error every 30 mins and crash. So Ive just been playin on PS4 ever since. I mentioned it in my FC and someone said just reinstall it... soo I just reinstalled it and now the game dosnt even make it to the title screen before the fatal direct X error happens lol

Ive tried reinstalling the game, my graphics drivers are up to date, Ive tried playing the game in direct X 9 mode, and even changing the ingame settings to play on the lowest settings possible (i used to play it on Maximum), none of that works.

The game USED to work fine and I havent done anything different to my hardware, soooo maybe instead of us having to make changes to our PCs, software/hardware just to make ONE game work (like reinstalling windows, underclocking, disabling stuff etc etc) if the game used to work fine with all those things intact that would suggest that something in the game itself was change to break it so Id say the game software itself needs to be investigated to find out what that something thats causing it is, and patch/update it right?

Were any changes or updates made to the PC when the crash began to occur. Is there an error message that appears when the crash occurs? Additionally, are you able to provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
