    How to use target filters?

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this question but I guess it relates to the interface in a way. It technically is a question about a keybind but I did not see a section for keybinds. I just want to know if there is a way to make certain keybinds toggle based. For example, when pressing the M key on PC, it brings up the map and you don't have to hold the M key to keep the map open. However, for the target filter keybind, which is the key X, I have to hold X to make sure I can filter past players and minions to click something. Is there a way to make the X key a toggle keybind?

These settings pictured below are toggled by drawing/sheathing your weapon. They apply only to target cycling keybinds (default num4, num6), not to tab targeting.

However, it sounds like what you really need isn't a target filter at all but a "Target Nearest NPC or Object" keybind. It's on the Targeting tab just below "Target Nearest Enemy". Set that to something close to home position like [V] because you will be using it a lot (also, set Target Nearest Enemy to something handy as well--I recommend [G]). This will allow you to interact with NPCs and quest objectives even if a million people are standing on top of them.
