Hello. I seem to be "stuck" in what seems to be a jail?

Hello, so early today I kept getting disconnected from the server I thought it was odd because I never have any issues logging in or playing.

However, when I logged in later today I automatically logged in to a jail cell?

I play on PS4 and I can't even bring up the main menu of the game to log off? All I have is this weird menu on the side that says "support desk" but it doesn't have any useful information.

Is this some type of banned on my account? Normally I behave and don't really bother anyone what's going on?

I see what's going on here. Let me guess, you got a tell with a link directing you to the Forums, clicked on it and entered your login details? That was a scam, someone stole you account data. It's quite characteristic that you get booted from your server as the scammers log in, taking all your Gil. Then, your account is used to spread the phishing link, and probably someone reported your account for that spread.

Oof, yeah, this is very likely what happened.

I will add that if you haven't already, please change your password. Also, if you don't use it already consider setting up the software token on your phone making it so that you need a one-time password every time you log in. This wouldn't have protected you against the initial log-in by a phishing scammer since you would have given the one-time password to them during the phish, but they would only be able to log into your account once with it preventing them from accessing it multiple times and disconnecting you each time they did. Without the token they can access the account as often as they want until you change the password or recover your account. With the token, they can only access it a single time until you log in or recover the account.

As for being in the GM jail itself, sometimes they just don't know you're in there yet. I recommend opening up a ticket in the support interface you have available in there letting them know you're there. Sort of like ringing the service bell at the checkout if the cashier's not there.

It's pretty hard to fall for that phishing attempt on PS4, because you can't copypaste the link, you have to type the url by hand into a browser.

They probably do the same as I do.

Playing on PS4 on the 36" TV with my laptop beside me for Discord/forums/reddit/whatever the flavour of the hour is. So typing in a URL isn't that hard to do when you have both going at once.

A few days ago I cussed someone out lol. Apparently they reported me and 3 days later I found myself in jail. About 15 mins in there a GM came and explained what had happened. They gave me a 3 day ban. I could try fighting it, but no use for that since I know what I did.

So what happens next? Do I just wait 3 days and everything goes back to normal?

I noticed that I can't even log in to the lodestone ._.

Normally i'm not a toxic person, but I was mad at that person who I insulted that day.
