That was one underutilized aspect of Geomancer from 11 for its dps capabilities though. It hasn’t shown up in any others, and in this type of mmo that is going to be very hard to implement.

I don’t think making a caster that needs to stand in front of the boss or anything of the sort is a good idea. You’re going to get cleaved.

I would say the Malediction line of spells is probably more in line with what we will get, considering they are the latest release.

Luopans to facilitate***. Feng Shui will assuredly be the focus of this job. I can’t say how they’ll do it, but I can imagine what aspects might be involved.

The design of a job is not all about “well that’s not how ff3’s geo did it.” It’s really about making something fun and thematically entertaining. Feng Shui is the theme, not just Terrain.
