Most unlikely.
Tank role got a new job in ShB.
Healer role got a new job in EW.
Melee role got a new job in EW.
Ranged role got a new job in ShB.
Caster role got a new job in Stormblood.
Since ARR, Caster role is the only one with a single new job.
Caster is also the only role with such a difference in gameplays accross all jobs. Unless they seriously adress SMN flaws in 6.1.
I can only see a ranged added in two cases:
-They decide to do rework some bits of the ranged role (Actually has no identity beyond overrated mobility)
-It's important for the lore. A new character will use that new job.

Caster has honestly gotten the shaft in this game as far as I’m concerned. Black mage was really solid from the reworks in ARR and has remained a near perfect job.
Summoner felt like a very rushed addition to the game. The developers admitted this in an interview. They wanted a new job and knew they didn’t have a lot of time. They polled the community and summoner won popularity wise, with ninja coming in second. The job was a lot of reused assets from the old thamurturge plus heavy inspiration from other necromancer type mmo pet classes. It has struggled to find a balance between gameplay and balance.
Red mage is a near perfect job as well, but raised the concern of a DPS job with too much utility.
This has created this weird caster balance where they’re balanced around non DPS utility like raise, meaning you have “progression” jobs vs “speed” jobs.
In an ideal scenario, black mage is straight up better than red mage and summoner because you shouldn’t be relying on a caster to rez.
Then the added layer of summoner’s mobility being taxed, putting it in this weird position where red mage is just better because it can do everything summoner can, but better.
Hoping for an interesting new caster in 7.0 that’s more on the selfish side, that isn’t BLM.
I want a Mystic Knight enspeller spellblade, preferably a tank. Imagine switching between Enfire, Enblizzard and Enthunder as your rotation.

If we're being wishful then I would love a casting job that uses a card deck as a weapon. I know this is incredibly unlikely since Cards are already part of AST but let me dream my crazy dream. I do feel like we are going to see a new caster job in 7.0, it seems to be the role with the least additions over time and is kind of due one but if they can't think of anything then they won't be adding anything.
The more I think of it, I just wonder if balancing the "role" numbers isn't really a thing.
A pattern holds better with theming an expansion's area with it's jobs. Look at Dark Knight, Machinist, and Astro being important in Ishgard with Heavensward. Red Mages coming from Ala Mhigo, Sams from Doma and Kugane for Stormblood. Gunbreakers from Bozja with Shadowbringers. Reapers from Garlemald and Sages from Sharlayan in Endwalker.
The only class that didn't get shoe horned in the right expansion was Dancer being from Thavnair. And it was the most requested class and it's lore area literally followed the next expansion. Which makes the counterargument weak.
I think if they move 7.0 to Hingashi we'll see Geomancer. If in Corvos we'll see Mystic/Rune Knight. Ranger or Shaman with the New World or Mercaydia. Viking or Valkyrie with the Blindfrost. Corsair with the South Sea Isles.
TL/DR: Role balance numbers don't matter; lore expansion does.

If Green Mage is a thing, its basically sage level of 'free real estate' for the devs. After all what was Green Mage in prior games? A debuffer and buffer specialist. It wielded hammers.
Silences, Blinds, Elemental Damage Resist Buffs, Protect, Shell, Leap (raise move speed), Tranq (raise accuracy), spellbound (extends duration of debuffs and buffs).
I feel if it did become a thing it gets rolled into geomancy or is made into its own thing that revolves around something druidic like plants.
