Character (Like ♥) system

Hello Everyone ^-^

One of the awesome and fun sides of this game is the attention to detail when it comes to character appearance and of course glamour options. People never fail to blow my mind with their amazing looking characters! Some look gorgeous, others look badass and of course there are those who took their creativity to a whole new level mirroring characters from other fictional work (games/anime..etc). When I see someone like that and see all the effort they put into making their character look that good, I always try to send them a tell letting them know how much I like it! Sadly sometimes people go offline before I do or they have the /busy on or they might not want to be bothered at all.

So I thought of this (like) system idea! We already have amazing tools added to enrich the community/social experience like for example the guest book for leaving nice messages in your house or the commendation system. This time I thought it would be awesome if we have similar system for cosmetic purposes only. If you like how a character looks or love their glamour you can right click on them and choose to give them a (Like ♥) and it can be viewed just like commendation points! Feel it would be a nice addition since glamour is a big part of this game. ^^

I quite dig your idea, but what if we combined these two things.
You could leave someone a like, and that also sends them a message (which you have the option of customizing).
Your like system is fun, but when I /tell someone that I like their glam I also enjoy the conversation that ensues and I wouldn't wanna replace that with a noninteractive like button.

Of course you can always send a tell ^^ but I suggested the like button in case people don't want to be bothered so having (like points) will let them know that a number of people found their character awesome!

Same. Once i found a guy that was a beast in Limsa...his machinist was based on a character from a old game...i don't remember his name
the guy was using googles with shiny orange clothes

While I don't disagree with your reasoning... I would prefer SE concentrate themselves on idea's that benefit all and not just a select few who may already have an ego to the point where they don't even care about opinion

I guess such people exist.. but! the majority would appreciate such compliments. Specially that glamour is a big part of this game ^^

hmm sadly I dont know who that is ;_; but yeah there are so many amazing glamours and cosplays! ♥
