Not sure if this is the right category and if the answer to my question is actually already there I just might have not seen where.

Is there a way to do an automatic pass when selecting what you want to do for the treasure drops (need, greed, pass) when you already own the dropped item? It's a bit tedious to open the window select an item and be told you cannot select it since you already own that item.

that's because you can actively do something to that item that you already have. you are able to discard said item and roll on the loot again. or you can desynth it and then roll on the item again from your loot pool. seeing as how you can desynth anything now you should be doing that to increase its level.

Yes, I get that. But if you already have capped desynth or doesn’t want to desynth, then why do so? Desynth while in duty can be time consuming. I’m not saying it should be always an automatic pass, but more of like an option to have an automatic pass.

id even welcome an option to automatically pass on all dungeon loot.

i know i can desynth or turn it in for seals but im past the point where those are useful

Loot management in general would be very nice. It's something we'd have had long ago if the game supported mods. Auto pass, auto roll if ilvl upgrade, etc etc. But, since the game doesn't and a loot manager is too minor a feature for the devs to bother with, we're stuck doing it all manually.

Yes. Loot management, that would be nice. Based on this reply, there really isn’t a way to do this currently. I thought I was just not seeing a setting. Thanks for the replies.

lol thought we already had auto pass by not even bothering to open the tab and just letting it time out. Normally if someone actually needs something they just type in chat then I bother to vote on the item to pass it.

if you dont roll and everyone else leaves or passes it dumps everything into your inventory
