I also think that would be where Medic is potentially going to be, Garlean's chemist called something different so people aren't dodgily looking at Alchemist lol. Alchemist / chemist issue being avoided while also granting SE a bit more freedom, yet still heavily lean on the chemist concept with physical non-magical based restorative themes and concepts. Can also be a fun way to introduce gadgets, like Machinist has. Calling down healing airstrikes haha. If Medic gets a pet, which I'm not saying it needs, it would, imo, be hilarious and cute to get their own personal roomba haha (maybe petting it makes it do a circle and beep hehe). Their little roomba being a platform they can slap support onto, making it more unique than the other pets- such that medic builds onto / augments it, like making their roomba activate a shielding dome like some mechanics in FFXIV fights have (some dungeons/primals), etc.

Maybe hilariously could have the roomba expand and the Medic jumps onto it and it becomes a in combat mount with a big turret attachment that they can fire off shells that impale the ground and then radiate healing and buff zones while also being able to manufacture and fire off their other abilities through the roomba, meaning casting times are not on yourself and while they still exist on your roomba they could be launching out volleys of healing (or damage) rather than just one ability at a time like the roomba can process two commands at a time (super mobile mode for medic, like the caster mages get lightspeed and similar abilities). Although I'm just having goofy fun over here XD.

Also agree a job from the Garleans would be neat, a nice way to humanize them further- a job that heals from the 'enemy' . Which isn't to say we don't have enemies or that everything done is now forgiven but I like enemies to have reasons and be allowed to have reasons beyond "I am bad man", all that black rose and like activity is still a huge problem- just that fighting the people and fighting the government are not required to be the same thing at all times (something FFXIV already does really, minus Zenos lol).
