Can't select character

I manage to log in just fine but when I try to pick a character to play nothing happens. The character is still there but it doesn't display the actual preview of what they look like or levels and current location. I'm at a loss...It won't let me play like this

Same thing here. I think its a server issue. I just got frozen. I guess our server is down for a bit.

I hope that's all it is...Such a weird way to glitch and show the server down. A nice "This server went kaboom" message would be preferable

Well Did you zone somewhere? Or are you logging on for the first time. I was in the middle of moogle fight and zoned out. I was stuck at the loading screen. Now when I try to log on, I cant see my character, only the golden ring. Glad to know its not only me

there is problems with the server cause I was trying to summon my chocobo it wasnt letting me, then tried to teleport and didnt even do anything, couldnt change LS's either and when I tried to log back in the character issue in the character screen ; ;

I just got booted from the game and now recieveing the same problem of no character showing up and just before this I made a GM call as i was unable to move etc the only available function I was able to do was talk in LS where a few others had problems. I was in the Sargatanas server as well in Tranquil where i wanted to return bk to grid but couldnt

I think it's only Sarg which is effected. I'd love it if some of the devs would drop by and share their thoughts on the matter.

I'm having the same issue right now. My character name shows up on the right and the swirly thing that would be under my character is displayed on the left, but no character information or graphic is showing up. I can't select my character to log in.


I have no fixes, but was about to post as well when I saw your post.

Oh, I'm so glad it wasn't just me experiencing this isssue! I was so worried. D:

I sent a support mail, so hopefully the issue will get sorted out in due time if people from Sargatanas keep sending the same thing.

I just woke up actually to find this. Logged out in Ul'dah last night and went to bed
