Dancer saved my sub

As of yesterday, I was completely checked out of the game and about to let my sub expire. I logged in one last time and thought 'huh, I've never tried dancer (hell, I often forget that dancer exists), but I liked the job in FFT, so what the heck?'

Man... I was playing the wrong classes all this time. What a fun, FUN job this is. It's so incredibly mobile - you're flitting in and out of melee range like a humming bird. And the group utility? (the heal, the buffs, the ability to pair with another DPS and buff the living daylights out of them). In a word: awesome.

I know that some people prescribe to idea that FFVIX should be played little bursts or spurts - renewing around a patch - but I just cannot attack an MMORPG like that. I am either all in, or all out. And when I am out, I tend to walk away for a year or more before returning. I was THIS close to doing it today. And now I'm not... because of a class I kept overlooking. Like a fool.

Dancer is that good yes. I've often found myself not using dancer on purpose because of how addictive it is. If I didn't hold myself back every duty would be a dancer duty haha.

I really do hope they follow this thematic gameplay design. It's the job with the strongest "we designed the gameplay around the job theme." And overall it's just fun, that delayed preparation for the ultimate plan kind of gameplay is just grand.
Good to see that something like this can motivate people, it's a lesson to the devs that everything matters and everything deserves the same amount of quality.

Well, the awesomeness that is Dancer should be known to all. Also getting your Dancer Glamour correct is a full game in of itself.

Love how that weapon is just the Ruby Tide weapon with a different name lol. That's good though and very Dancer-y

I unlocked it, but could not find the /limsa twerk ability in the Action&Trait tab.

This is a very nice look. Its hard to find good DNC glams that arent overdone.
If I see the Thavnairian Bustier again on another DNC (or anyone really) it will be too soon....

Dancer certainly isn't my main, but it's very fun. Pretty much my "turn off my brain and just have fun" option.

i have a very strong hate for FFXIV Dancer, ot was so boring and disappointing to me from its other game

FFXI Dancer is so much fun, Debuff, Debuff, Debuff,stab, stab,stab, Curing Waltz I,II, III, IV, V, Healing Waltz, Haste Samba <3, Fan Dance <3

FFXI Dancer is what saved my a sub to FFXI.
