    Seconded this (month old post lol). I think the less time on new races, the more time can be spent expanding customization. This patch it looks like we didn't even get a hairstyle which is kind of a downer.

    -new classes: we've got several candidates mentioned or alluded to ingame so far, and many more besides (my dark horse pick would be maiming DPS chocobo knight, aside from the telegraphed ones like non-healer geomancer (AST quests), chemist/apothecary-necromancer-berserker ([REDACTED]), and beastmaster (ivalice content, bozja/gabranth's legion))

    -any word on a plan for how to address action clutter+homogenization: we're nearing the 'soft' action limit already despite the watered down class changes everyone got in ShB, and with another expac in the pipeline that's going to mean either gutting and re-kitting every class AGAIN in 6.0 to spread the same number of actions across 90 levels (making early game/leveling even more repellent/boring for new players and old) or finding some other solution. there's little to no room for classes to grow or have any unique expressions of their themes/identity

    -healers getting... literally anything: we've been shafted with a year of radio silence and "your awful player experience is intended, why should your class be fun". give us something to do when there's no healing to be done, for christs sakes, you took away my DoTs and gutted AST's cards, and WHM's lack of downtime activity has plagued it since the class' introduction!

    -a proper "Field Dungeon": a dungeon with a large open floor plan and several objectives that must be completed, albeit in any order (up to and including the main boss), rather than the usual series of corridors and arenas (the bozjan front is nearing this design, which makes me happy, but still appears to be too mired in eureka ideas to fully realize the idea).

    -some more love/support for BLU: I'm fine with either a "real" class conversion or simply more limited job options (such as opening PotD, more party support/roulette options or general QoL networking options with as hard as it is to find similarly-skilled, -geared, and -spell progress'd BLUs to work with be it for learning new ones or tackling harder content)

    not necessarily asking that these wants all get crammed in at once, but at least word on some of them would be a welcome change. i'd be happy with any one of them tbh

    Already mentioned by others many times elsewhere, but just let me craft directly from my retainers' inventories... please. Since I doubt they'll ever do away with retainers entirely, If nothing else, SE, give us this, at least. Like many people, I keep items organized per retainer (BTN stuff on one, MIN stuff on another, vendor mats, etc), and this change would severely minimize the amount of clicking one needs to do to craft.

    ... So. Many. WINDOWS...

    Redone inventory system. This includes:

    New glamour system. No glamour dresser needed. Whenever you get something, either rolling for it or picking up and using some kind of option adds it to your Glamour Log (and consumes or binds it), allowing you to keep its appearances without needing to carry the item. You can basically change your Glamour Plates and apply them any time outside of combat.

    Dedicated crafting items inventory. A lot of existing recipes have materials condensed/removed.

    Current normal raid series is now just a weapon token and armour token. Old series tokens removed and you can just buy the old stuff with poetics, but for stuff earned from raids you must clear that series first to buy it for poetics.

    Dyes no longer as an item you have to carry. You carry base dye items for all the main colours (eg. all basic blue dyes are just one dye), and they allow you to access any colour in that category. Pastel and dark dyes added to these dye pools. Premium dyes (metallic, jet-black, etc.) can stay as is or be condensed to Prismatic Dye or something. Now stored like crystals and don't take inventory slots.

    Also streamlining the game from the top down to have less menu surfing (at least on PC)

    Instanced housing. Expanded apartments could work.

    Chemist/Apothecary as a new healer. Expanded Blue Mage.

    I feel like a bad person for this, but I’d rather see a NEW race instead of the gender expansions. I’m still a bit sad we have nothing between lalafell and miqo’te size wise.

    Oh, wow, now these are fantastic ideas! The glam system you described is similar to the transmogrification system in World of Warcraft, and I think that's one of the things that MMO has done very well. SE could learn a thing or two from other games, honestly.
