Hrothgar and Viera: how did they appear on Eorzea?

for viera, there is a small lore explaining where their (most) habitat place if you play the ivalice raid quest. i forgot which part but i remember it clear it was explained by the moogle that one the (biggest) clan is located in a jungle on the south somewhere.

as for they (player who use viera race) start appearing in eorzea, i think the old tradition from viera in FFXII still applied in here. short version, they are curious of outside world and start venturing on their own, which technically mean these viera are exiled from their village (or clan?) so they just go explore the world and make a living on their own.

It's basically: They were always here, we just rarely (n)ever saw them. They did the same thing for au ra when they were introduced, more or less. 'Oh, they're common in other parts of the world, just not yours.'

Yeah but with Au'ra at least they tried to introduce them (loosely, ok) with the ARR quests leading to HW. With them being originally from Doma and arriving to Eorzea through Yugiri's boat etc.
I mean it doesn't really make much sense but at least they tried.

With Viera I suppose you could say they tried to do something similar with SB's series of Raids dedicated to Ivalice. It's even less than what they did for Au'ra, but it's still better than nothing.
For Hrothgar they did that, absolutely zero, nothing, niet, nada.

According to the dark knight and white mage quests in Heavensward, a group of Au Ra fled to Eorzea trying to escape the Empire. Unfortunately, they arrived in Ishgard first, where they were mistaken for Dravanians, and most of them were slaughtered.

Viera and Hrothgar are assumed to have always been around in small numbers, just like male Miqo'te and female Roes and Highlanders from 1.0 to 2.0.

they've always been there, they just never appeared until shadowbringers (or the end of the ivalice raid in viera's case).
