    Unable to download patch files???

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your device or home network that coincides with this?

Additionally, what platform are you currently using?

This started last night right after I had put in my key codes for the expansion packs. The launcher tries to download an update or it's downloading the expansions, I'm not exactly sure...

There were no other major changes done to my computer and I had just logged off of playing.

I'm on a PC with Windows 10 OS. My system is up to date and I've tried a few things to fix the issue after searching for others who have had similar problems.

I've tried disabling my firewalls, using an ethernet cable as opposed to wifi, clearing my cache and cookies. I have enough storage on my computer as well.

    Thanks for responding so quickly!

Thank you for the reply earthbenderchild.

You may want to try some of the following if the troubleshooting you've tried hasn't changed the issue.

-Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

-Try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
