Does anyone know how to make holding R1 NOT "Change Set" for hotbars?

It doesn't happen often, but I'll do a quick change with R1 and hold it for a half second too long and it screws up my rotations.

So, can you either change the length of time that it needs to be held to trigger "Change Set" or can you disable it / change the button to be held and keep R1 as the quick toggle button?

I've looked everywhere and can't believe this isn't an option by now. :/ There has to be a workaround!

    I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're asking.
But there is a way to change it from [hold shoulder button] to [press to toggle].
Is that what you're looking for?

If you hold R1, rather than a quick hotbar swap, it brings up all eight hotbars to chose from.

That said... I don't know that there is a way to change this, and you may just need to get a feel for how quickly you need to tap the button rather than press it in. It took me a bit to learn that at first too.

Keybinds are not a thing on the Playstation version.

You can change the button configuration, but you can't change the hold R1 button from what I'm seeing on my screen right now.

Good luck to the other issue, but just wanted to answer that last bit by saying that the forums are in part for the dev/cm team's reference and because when you delete OP you also would delete everyone else's posts too. So I think it makes sense that you can't delete them, you'd be able to kill all the community's response which might have been interesting. Like I see sometimes in other places someone will delete their message after an issue has been solved, which is a bummer when they could have left the chain up so people could have searched for it later to get that solution too.

Also might see people more actively fish for favorable responses, or making fancy bumps lol.

Yeah, it's not fun when the OP can shut down forum threads when they think they're "done" but there's still room for discussion.

Some places have a "can delete if nobody has replied" rule which makes sense.

On the actual question, have you considered just working with the issue and always swapping to the specific hotbar instead of trying to quick-swap?

Also there are the menu settings to access additional hotbars with R2-L2 and double-tapping, which most likely eliminate your need to quick-swap altogether.

It's perfectly neat. We have eight "cross hotbars" (matching controller button layout) and eight buttons on the controller. R1+Triangle will always take you to hotbar 1. R1+Dpad-right will always take you to hotbar 6.

Basically R1 brings up a hotbar for selecting hotbars.
