Everyone complaining about the exp penalty (which is fair, it ought to be removed by now). But honestly, can't say I've heard anyone in the zones actually getting hit by it very often.

You have the first few levels in Anemos to learn what you can and can't solo. Due to echo, you really gotta be dipping into deep waters to get yourself killed. Learn what you can and can't handle.
Also learn quickly that players still die regardless. Often low levels hanging out with the train, or attempting to join up. This is where you learn that giving a shout usually gets someone to come along to pick you up. Most should also learn that parties are a good idea for similar reasons.

You usually don't see anyone running out the death timer unless they're way out of the way doing who knows what. In which case, that's kinda just a consequence to be prepared for. Maybe some players are trying to do stuff in a low-pop instance. Also something to be mindful of. (also something to demand improvements on)

May be biased, but I wouldn't say losing exp is as widespread as detractors might make it seem.
